The region of Provence in the South of France is known for high-quality French soaps that have been perfected by many generations of traditional soap-making dating as far as the 1700s.
The milling process involves mixing fatty acids, such as fat or oil, along with soda, which then creates a basic soap mixture through what is called “saponification”. The soap mixture is left to dry and is later shredded. The soap mixture is passed through high-pressured stainless-steel rollers three times – this is the formation of triple-milled soap.
The triple-milling process, if done correctly, removes excess air and water from the soap mixture, and removes traces of lye, which then creates a dense pure soap bar -- the purest of soaps. This process also removes impurities and is made with natural botanical exfoliants, essential oils, and blends of fragrances resulting in a rich creamy texture and is long-lasting.
French artisans create superior and premium soaps that are made with the finest of all-natural ingredients which provide wonderful advantages for all skin types, especially dry or sensitive skin. Triple-milled soap is moisturizing with the nourishing benefits of vegetable oils such as Shea Butter, Olive & Sweet Almond Oil. The Shea Butter helps to moisturize and keep the skin youthful and glowing.
It is by far, the most luxurious and beneficial soap you can add to your bathroom and skin care regimen.
